Hi,

I have 10W-40 fully synethic mobil one engine oil in my RST
Is that good for her???

I always used to put Mobil 1 Motorsport 15W-50 in my RST, it's readily available from Halfords.

mine ran on 10/40mobil1 for years when my uncle owned my s2. it will be fine

That oil is abit thin for mine, my turbo isn't in the best of health and it drinks that oil. The 15w50 lasts alot longer in mine.

Mobil1 15w50 is expensive from halfords though.

10W/40 is fine mate.

10w-40 is fine, but I am sure Mobil 10w-40 is a semi synthetic not a full synthetic.

I use a 10-40 semi. I was always told not to use fully synthetic in it. cant remember why now tho.

Whoever told you that was wrong. Synthetic is fine, just better quality. Use the correct viscosity.

thanks for the comments people, will be leaving the current oil in the car but will be changing every 3000miles or 6 months
