Default home made bonnet raisers.

Anyone made any home made bonnet raisers before ?? seems like it would be a fairly simple job lol ?

yeah, out of copper pipe, piece of piss, but took mine off as i didn't like the look of them on my car.

yup, a loada washers LOL!!! and longer bolts... i arrived at bodge central that day.

You dont need them take the heater box out and run without it allowing the heat to escape and preserving the cars looks.

i made mine out of some 1"x1" alloy bar

Dunno mate, going to the garage tomorrow, can meassure them then.

Edit, i've got aloy blocks from 2cm high and 3 cm wide on them, length is 2cm past each hole aprox.
