speedo bounce
i've just had the dash out to fix a few leccy probs, they're all fine now.
just to make sure everything was ok, i took it round the block, to see if everything was ok
anyway i noticed that the speedo, bounces, not a lot, just gently up and down, it still shows the correct speed, but the bounce is a couple of mph, either side of it, it dosen't seem to get any faster or slower, when accelerating etc.
i've undone it at the gearbox, and reattched 4 times, checked but still the same, i've checked to see if its crimped or pinched anywhere but it all seems smooth.
don't understand, why it should suddenly do this?

no more Granada's for me
I get that on my granada 24v, about 90 or 95 under hard acceleration it flicks round to 110 and back then is fine but starts it again at about 125 just after its changed into top gear, get to just over 140 an an it starts flicking round to 150, 155pmh... obviously not on public highways lol

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I wouldn't say it needs a new cable, just needs pushing in to the back of the dash correctly. If you take out the drivers heater vent or the center heater vents and you have small enough arms you may just be able to reach and push it home.

checked it and, well it was clean snapped off in the tube, it had twisted up the sheath, and tried to make a knot behind the clocks
needless to say, it had stopped working completly
doh!
