turbo heat shield
been thinking about fitting a alloy heat shield,
i wondering as it looks a bit tricky to do, any thoughts on this?
also would you think that wrapping the manifold at the same time would help with cooling?
cheers peeps

only advice i would give is buy the one that bolts to the exhaust manifold..uses the existing studs and bolts..the other one you have to drill the slam panel and sell tapper (or similar) it to secure it..i had one like that and was a crap fit..kept catching the bonnet catch cos the cut out wasnt perfect shape

the one that bolts to the manifold is the better one as its easy to put on and take off. the other one that bolts to the slam panel is shite as in time they will rattle like mad and get on your tits!

Just heat wrap it TBH heat coming of it will only rise and where's it to your bonnet?? LOL
It won't make that much of an impact to temp's IMO,Just heat wrap,When your driving the cool air will pass through the intercooler and rad and keep temps down so...........,Unless ur sitting it traffic and then planning a major race,Or fancy another chrome part,Then i don't see much use.
I know someone will correct what i said LOL.
