Default CVH Cranks and EFI Blocks......

Just to double check, all 1600CVH cranks are the same, RST ones are no different?
EFI Fiesta blocks just need the Oil return hole drilling for the turbo?

In my quest to get a block i've been offered a 3000mile old bottom end, thats been decked, had a crank regrind and new shells, a light hone (there was no lip), new oil pump, new water pump, new sump, with receipts for all work.
Has got carb pistons in ATM so I would just need to swap pistons and rods over, and drill the oil return hole.

Looking like my best option right now.

rst cranks are a crank on their own! They are under cut around the big end journals to reduce the risk of cracking.

I'm willing to bet that a lot of people are using a normal standard crank in their RST's though...

I must admit i've not ever heard of it either........ maybe i'll go with it?!
Christians crank was a standard RS item @ 350bhp so they must be pretty strong items anyway, I cant imagine the NA one being made from a totally different material/casting!
