Default turbo on its way out???

i have a g reg escort rs turbo, after bringing in the turbo and couple of seconds after i am getting a strong smell of oil. any ideas? thanks

Bringing in the turbo???? as in you've removed the turbo and put it in your house?

yes you will get a smell of oil.

unless youre on about the turbo being on the car and after its spooled up and the boost has reached positive pressure.
No you shouldnt smell the oil in the car.

LMAO!

OP, you shouldnt smell oil!
If it's pluming blue smoke then could be turbo yes, if it's not and you can just smell oil then have a look for oil leaks in your bay.

First check the breather system is clear, as this can generate oily smells, as can worn engines if breathing a bit heavy.
