Default roll cage fitting

alright guys im part way through fitting my 6 point safety devices roll cage,do i fit the front foot plates inside the car or underneath also do they need to be welded in or are they ok just bolted,i presume they would be weld in,thanks in advance much appreciated

Put em inside and weld them in. Make sure you scrape off any sealer from the area after welding though and reseal!

On the outside of my floor I also used a plate.I drilled holes in it so the bolts go thru,then added a washer and nut to each bolt and tightened them up.My thinking on this is to help spread the load on the underside of the floor as well as the inside.Maybe a bit of overkill,but it was quick to make and cheap.Plus its a good sturdy point to place a trolley jack.Regards,Micky
