that could be an issue with the com port on the PC. Are the outer two leds flashing when you crank?

Tried two differnet laptops (one USB to RS232 converter, the other a genuine RS232 port), and no the lights do not flash.
All that happens now is the centre LED comes on and stays on, whereas before I tried to re-flash it would just flicker on once when the ignition was turned on.

i got a member off xrtwo.com forum to supply one built for £320 he lives in portsmouth so i had to post it when i had issues, but he sorted it quickly and sent it back.
he occassionally pops on here IIRC

Karlos try msefi forum if you cant sort that problem.
I am really not so good with ms-efi internals, luckily never had any problems with board itself. I replaced that iact driver transistor and all went fine. You dont have stimulator board? Can you take your ecu off and take it to someone who has stimulator and try to "debug" the problem.

Sorted!!! Had to use the Boot Jumper to reflash the Eprom now all is well!!
Why it needed flashing I dont know?? Is it common for these to get corrupted??? Dont fancy being out somewhere and all of a sudden my ECU bums out on me??!!!

actually i had to put firmware back on once, only happened once, maybe due to bad wiring at the time, never had a prob since everything has been working right.
