Where to get low comp pistons from for my S2
Hi, im currently rebuilding my S2 Turbo, and want it low comp, ive taken my bottom end to a local engine specialist, its been there for a few months now, and today i got told by him that hes having trouble getting the pistons and id be better off getting them myself.
I need 1mm oversized low comp pistons, my mates got mahle ones in his, but ive heard of those accarlite ones being quite good, ive looked on burton power but dont really understand if i order the 1mm accarlite, will they be low comp, i wanna run 20 psi, so they have gotta be low comp. Also do they come with the correct pistons rings or will they be extra money on top of the money for the pistons
Got the money ready, and want my car back on the road!!. Any help will be gratefull, thanks!!

i belive the accritle are forged! dunno what it means but i reckon they can ahandle more than 20psi!!
and you can run 20psi with std comp! just have a dam good intercooler! or supplement it with some water injection!

yeah mate, i dropped mine off in October, down at alans, havent even started it yet , just saw in fast ford that P.T.S have sum Mahle Low Comp ones for £305. Might try them in the morning.
Alan wants a grand to build a low comp bottom end with him supplying the pistons.
So i think im gonna get them myself, if u take yours down now u might get it done by next xmas

got mine sorted today, havent gone for those accralite heard to many bad things about them.
Rang P.T.S today, they dont do a set of Mahle pistons in a 1mm oversize anymore so they reccomended me sum Ross 1mm Low comp ones, 7:8:1, so i got them, £479 delivered, never heard of Ross Pistons before, but at least he can start it now!!.
Hopefully back on the road by Feb!
