right ok.

well ive been having problems with my alternator. its been fine, and now its not. charges the batter but when i use things like windows and hold my brake peddle a very dim light comes on ''batter sign'' on my dash.

ive been looking at my rebuild photos and lucky enuff i had one showing the cables, right well ive noticed something thats not the same as before.

there is on the alternator a black box, well mine now dont have one, dont ask where its gone as i dont know. anyways it has a black cable. looks like an earth. but, it looks like its broken. ok. so the cable is still there, what is this able? and can i re solderit back to the alternator, if thats where it goes. help me please. i just need it sorted for a while unitll payday
