I am mate! Will be properly mapped tomorrow and so should be kicking out something between 210bhp and 230bhp!
You wouldnt beleive how much more space is in the engine bay now the metering unit, fuel accumulator, etc... has all gone!

PassionFord Post Whore!!
just been to the meet at trafford centre, mine doesn't feel quick anymore, at times it does but its needing more oomph, so with this conversion done over the winter it should be a lot better

We built it about one week in evenings, all wiring is double protected and harness goes all the time in protective pipe. All connecting points are soldered and we use that.. hmm i dont know english word, anyway that black tube which shrinks when warmed. I have main relays nicely available in firewall and fuses in order too. Manifold itself does not take long time to install because efi head direct fitment. Wiring when doing properly takes time.

OFAB and OFAC cannot be live mapped so your power is limited by what chip you can buy, and all you can adjust is the base fuel pressure!
IMO it's a pointless conversion when you can go Megasquirt, Gotech, Omex, VEMS, etc... which can al be live mapped!

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Yes that is mostly how I did mine, the english word for shrinks when heated is 'Heat Shrink' lol
Nope had to use plugs from a old loom although you can buy them new!

Dont know yet! lol
Literally on got it fired up yesterday and then had to go out, today i've been extremely hung over and so havent played with it at all.
Doug (Garage19) is coming over tomorrow night and we are going to map it so I'll let you know how we get on!

Done my 1,8zvh conversion with V2,2. Cost me with Innovate Lc-1 kit ~430Ł
However it`s quite hard to get it run properly. I mean not standing and running in your garage, but on the road with 1+ boost without melting down your engine.
My setup:
Xr3 Efi head, ported
FRST inlet manifold
350cc @ 3bar Saab Injectors
Malpassi FPR
Walbro 255l/h fuel pump
Ms V2,2 with EDIS
EFI flywheel 1,8 zetec.
Air temp/Coolant temp sensors- GM (Ms default, no worries with calibrating)
Lc-1 DB-kit.

Do gm sensors fit directly to efi inlet manifold?

Mapping for 1 bar WOT is the easy bit i if you have the right equipment.

Unless your on the limit of your injectors or fuel pump?
Will do mate but wont be for a few weeks, it's being mapped on the road so i'll have to book it in somewhere for a power run to see what BHP i'm actually making.

Yep.
My map signal is jumping up and down @ 5000+ rpm.
At least i dont get VR trigger errors (common problem).
For now new LUK clutch kit with uprated coatings slips thru after 0,8bar boost. After fixing this problem i will go to dyno and hope to see around 270hp

Nice One Karlos
You said it would be done in a day, and it was... just a shame that a few weeks got inbetween the day said and the day complete
Good luck with the set-up and enjoy the new 'chatter'
Again, just goes to show that if the time and effort is put into doing your homework first, anything is possible! Well done Mate.

i'm running rover 600 injectors on my 1.8zvh on megasquirt II v3.0 with extra code therefore 16*16 tables, getting it to idle nicely is a pain in the arse, as is to not overfuel on throttle.
on part throttle and i mean 2% ish it dies, and i'm using a vems wideband and that doesn't want to communicate with laptop.
tis a fiddly task this efi lark.
