You're ABS would no longer work on that circuit and your brakes would feel shit. Have the ABS removed as it's utter shit anyway and both braking and pedal feel are improved by getting rid

Plus your ABS light would be permanently on as the microswitch activated by the belts would show there was a problem, thus failing any mot also.
If you're gonna remove one because of a noise then you may as well replace it and save yourself the hassle or either working around the system showing there is a problem or removing the whole lot saving yourself some cash in the process.

I upgraded my brakes to cossies bcalipers and discs and high performance pads with goodridge hoses but kept the abs working as i found that when doing high speed braking the abs combinded with this setup was brilliant! no need to worry about brakes locking up!
but it is personal taste.

i have the same setup mate , im getin a ratling sound at a certain revs but i also get it wen reving the car when its stationary so probs not the belts themselfs but something within the casing of them as i hold the revs and wiggle the casing and the ratlle changes noise so must be something in there , need to get it on a ramp to have a proper look tbh , thanks for the replys lads !
