Default What Engine?

I'm looking at filling the empty hole in my engine bay but don't know what kinda engine to go for, S1, S2 MFI or FRST?

It's an H plate S2 and I have been offered all the above engines. I'm not looking to spend alot, just want an engine that I can mildly tune and not have too much bother with. I'm siding on the MFI set up just now but I've seen people here wanting to go EFI making me consider FRST engine. Power wise I reckon I'll be happy with 170ish BHP which I know is achievable with MFI. The S1 engine has an S2 inlet, there's not any compatilbility issues with other S2 parts is there? IE gearbox, loom manifold etc. I know that the S2 turbo is water cooled. There is no loom or ECU on the car...

So my engine bay is empty, what will I need and what's best?

id go FRST... Has to be EFI for me.... If i was building another and i only wanted under 200bhp but reliable i would go for EFI.

Nice idle, More modern, and no Metering head to renew/refurbish.

When I built my Fiesta Mk2 Turbo many moons ago I put an MFI series 2 Engine in.
Although it wasn't that hard to fit or a bad engine persay I wish i'd fitted an EFI one.
I wish I still had that car.

didnt say you couldnt fit a t2 m8,it will just run out of steam compared to a t3 and remember the engines in a scort now which is heavier than a fezza,so u dont want it to be underpowered
