Default Couple of quick EFI conversion questions please!

Think i've got almost everything I need now, but where do I get a hose to connect the fuel filter to the injector rail/regulator? How does the fuel return hook up, do I need a hose for that also or will it fit to what I already have?
TPS, ICV, ACT, VR, and other sensor plugs do I just need to rob them from a old EFI loom or can they be bought new?
Did I read somewhere that you need a EFI accelerator pedal and cable??

If these sound like silly questions, please bear in mind I have not actually got any of the parts to look at/offer up yet as everything was bought today!!

There is a separate loom for the inlet manifold, that covers the injectors, IAT, CLT and TPS. Get hold of that if your inlet didn't come with one. Then you will only have one main connector for the top of the engine like this:

And before you ask:

You need to blank the original IAT sensor position at the charge carrirer because it's fouling the throttle cable. The original sensor fits nicely to the runner #4.

Inlet manifold has four runners to the clinder head. #4 has a place for air temperature sensor as seen in the picture. The RST sensor is a direct fit.

I had some braided hose made up with some fittings for the fuel filter. Took the injector rail, fuel filter original pipe to fuel filter with me and bascially told them what I needed. Dont forget to get a 90degree fitting for you injector rail otherwise the hose will run over the top of the inlet as opposed to underneath or round the back.

rscustomhoses on ebay does some nice stuff for fuel lines. You can use the std fiesta turbo/xr2i hose for filter to fuel rail. For the return you can use what's there with some rubber fuel hose and jubilee clips, it's not under pressure which makes it easier.

Rick.

Used some pipe I had running on the MFI and made it up! I know a couple of places that do some stainless braided hose on the cheap but they are West Midlands way.

8mm is what you want.

36-1 trigger wheel is what you need, as the sierra one above.

have u got the wireing harness you need someone mentioned?! i think ive got one kicking about somewhere, might have a few of the connectors missing but wouldnt take much to replace them. Converted a 3i from mfi to efi, not turbo still NA but similar to what ur doing. As u said u will need the efi throttle cable and pedal mate as the connector that goes onto the linkage is different on efi and mfi!

also, that wheel needs machining down if it hasn't already been, as it won't clear the chassis leg.

I need the plug that plugs into the injector/inlet manifold loom if you have that mate?
The connector on the throttle body yeah? Bit of a pain changing pedal and cable, no way around?

just the plug?! bit confused as to what u mean mate...... so u got the manifold loom and u need the plug that plugs into?! that plugs connected to the engine loom....

Might be an easy way round but the car i took the efi loom out of had the pedal and cable so just changed them over, alot easier if you can find them obviously!
