Default how many litres of oil?
as in thread.

gearbox oil, how many litres do you generally use when putting gearbox in.

for my escort s2

3 mate, dont overfill it or you'll have oil all over your passenger side front brake!!

Use a syringe (sp) to fill it. When it starts to dribble back out it full lol

wot he said, i used a funnel with a clear pipe etc but same method of knowing when it was full lol

As said about 3 litres, no sight glass or anything like that so as said just fill till it comes out the filling hole! Bir of a fiddly job...easier job without mfi and the metering unit in the way iirc.
