hi all my engine bay needs a good clean and paint up, does anyone on here offer this kind of service or do you know any garages that will do this for me? how much will this cost me?

i gather the engine and everything needs to come out to have a good clean inside and paint up?

i dont have the space or facility's to do this myself so will need to get someone else to do it for me.

mate get some engine degresser link gunk and jet wash it! thats for starters but makes sure the dizzy, plugs, leads, metering head are all covered.
another good product that i have found really good on hose and oil stains is soda crystal spray.
try these and see how you get on.

 

thanks, yeh the degreaser should work well. alot of work but i will be worth it, this is mine atm



as yuo can see it looks like crap , but thats how i bought it not long ago.

 

mine was worse than that! if you dont have a jet wash use the soda cyrstal spray around all the areas like the inner wings. remove the heater box, water tank, charge carrier and pipes from the turbo and clean them off the carplus it will give you easier access to the rest of the bits, the cyclinder head to clear il stains use wd40 to get rid of the oil and wipe clean off.
again washing up liquid or soda crystals is very good.
