was overfueling like mad so i thought it was a problem with the metering unit thingy!!iv never seen or played with these so i wanted someone to take a look but since then it started misfiring badly!so i carried out some checks and found i had fuel in the sump and am loosing pressure on cylinders 1,3 and 4!!!!!so iv just ripped the head off and found some bright spark who rebuilt the engine just before i bought it didnt grind the valves in and fitted the wrong piston rings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so now im going to start the rebuild !!!with some nice new shiny bits!!!might even go for efi due to what people are saying about metering heads!!

your best bet for the money is cosworth managment on the standard mfi manifold as this flows just as well as an efi manifold except there is less parts to change! but you will need an adapter plate between manifold and head for the injectors and/or head mods to the ports for the injectors to spray through but saying that mfi is good for arond 250-300bhp with a 5th injector ive had no problems myself with mfi and my car was used for daily duties till the gearbox broke AGAIN!!!!!!

cosworth managment is not good value for money not .. the parts are old and exspensive.

My advice is go for gotech as it is a proper stand alone system and new .. Ie no doggy old looms etc .

As for fitting it you have Enhanced Performance at gatwick with years of rs behined them or Jam sport in northampton again with years in the no...

Enhanced Performance 01293 560 291 Jam sport 01604 755529.

good luck . ps both will supply or supply and fit ..
