Rip off?
hello just had the rs in the garage just wondering if this was a fair price this is what was done.
Head Gasket , head skimed
all top end gaskets
Cam belt and roller(power grip?)
hub end cv joints on both sides
tracking
they had to tap and put some new bolts in on the head as well
+ the oil, filter coolent etc
they said just under £500 is this right , normally do the work my self but got some broken fingers . cheers for your feedback

my mechanic friend charges £80 a day for his service plus parts so i'd of thought 2 days at most for labour and
head gasket 40
top end set 15
head skim is 25
belt and pulley 60
tracking 20
oil&filter 50 depending on oil
not sure on hub cv as not sure if you mean cv boots or something else
