Airtec Intercooler

Airtec Intercooler
Hi Just not long bought a airtec intercooler and alloy rad both working spot on.
Just cut out my bumper so the air gets the hole intercooler, would like to see what you guys think of what it looks like since the airtec intercoolers dont sit bang in the middle.
Was thinking of modin it so that it sits more to the right but will involve cuttin ect.

good fitting, will be doing mine soon, what needs to be modded for the intercooler to be moved to the 'right' abit?
as it sits like that can you fit the spots on? im gonna be fitting them back on after i done mine. not a fan of open mouth bumpers though, shame you did that, but i do like how Tonys(E1.6 RST) bumper looks, the bottom was the only bit cut open.

Cheers mate, Well not much really just about 2" cut from the frount panle to the right so that i can move it over as the hoses are hard two already, Being a welder this should not be a problem.
Not yet made my mind up myself got a spare bumpers just incase.

got anymore pics? what year/spec is your model? are you running a turbo cooler to?
have you seen the car i mentioned yet?
the 'fat' bit is still used but the bottom bit has been cut out and instead of 3 lower holes theres just one, looks very good how its done, i think twins RS is like this too?

some good pics there, what happened with all the oil in the boost hose, never seen so much oil in a hose before????
whats next for your car?
ive decided to use a turbo cooler, would rather have it there doing something other than doing nothing wasting space in the engine bay, plus it didnt cost much. Only money and looks good.

Thanks mate, yea lol when i bought the car it was not what u call the best untill siteck racing fixed the problems whit her. rocker cover stud riped off so one valve stayed opened or closed cant rember so that let the oil leak.
Yea u have a point there put some pics up when u fit every thing so i can see what it looks like whit the oil cooler on aswell might get one myself for the sake of £67 a think
