Power curve explanation
Hi guys, this is my first thread here. welcome everyone. i have this erst s2 for 2 months now.
could you please have a look at this dyno test. i know that engine is rubbish now (recent owner didn't care about it much) but i went to a garage to set up afr and check the power.
when i accelerate it goes well untill 3500rpm, then it slows down and when it reaches 4500 it goes well again.
is it a problem in fuel dist and fuel mixture? any other ideas?

it looks like the ignition timiming is being retarded when it comes on boost. This is usually caused by the knock sensor retarding the ignition when it shouldn't. One thing to try is to unscrew the knock sensor from the inlet manifold (green plug, on the right) and leave it dangling somewhere. You must not disconnect it, as you will have retarded ignition everywhere.
