Series 2 dangerous handling!?
can anyone help its driving me mad! i bought the car a few weeks back and on the way home it handled like a barge! no big deal i had full polly bushes to go on etc...
the car now has polly bushes upfront and all the rear, its gone better but its still too dangerous to drive.
If feals like its the rear passenger wheel and if you go over a bump the back end trys stepping towards the right. at low speeds this is noticeable but seams to be only when the passenger wheel does some supsension work on its own. both wheels goin over a bump it seams much more stable.
At high speeds this is obviously amplified! it kicks the back end from left to right and only ever does it that direction. I have had the whole rear end apart today to check and double check bushes and they are fine. Checked rear wheel bearings again fine?
Anything else i can try or any ideas?

i do have another complete Series 2 in the garage so can swap and change bits to try. Forgot to mention i had the car 4 wheel tracked after i did the bushes and nothing bad showed it was tracked up fine...
Shocks are koni adjustables on this one, can't see why that would cause it to shift left > right though? unless its bent :O

First thought was dampers too.
My Bonus was a cunt, constantly correcting it at speed, turned out the dampers would colapse under thier own weight mate :-O

you wanna worry it hasnt been in a previous accident mate. check all panel gaps and inner wings under the bonnet etc, especially around where the seam sealer is.

right update i have finally stripped old car and sent it to the big scrap yard in the sky!
anyway changed the shocks and springs from the old one which drove fine. Took it out before still twitchy now when i was changing the shocks it appears the stub axel was slightely bent maybe or something was?
the shocker wouldnt sit on the stub axle very well at all i had to use some force to get it on there. bent stub axle? bent bottom arm? anyway of testing or just start changing stuff over!?
the ride height seams to measure the same on both sides
