help!! idling problems

Default help!! idling problems

help me please.. when idling my car just seems to stall, it happens whether the engines hot or cold, can even be doing 70mph and press the clutch down and the tickover dies after bout 5 seconds

anyone any ideas?

air leak somewhere
bung the return to the meterin head for the breather and see if it idles and doesnt stall,then ull no u have an air leak somewhere

To find an air leak spray easy start around the suspect hoses if the idle speed increases you have a leak, worked great for me.

Airleaks can be the worst thing to find! I suffered with the same issue as you for months and months... turned out to be the dumpvalve was knackered and staying open just enough to cause the engine to stall.

First thing I would do is check the tightness of all jubilee clips on your main boost/turbo pipes. The other thing is to check whether your dipstick keeps popping out under pressure, that'll create an unwanted air leak too!
