rs turbo lagging
just been out to take the car for its mot,
the cars been off the road for about 6months now due to engine change upgradeds ect, about 4 months ago i changed the leeds to bosh 8mm. The car runs on a missfire sometimes on start up so i remove the leads to find out which one isnt working and its minaly number 2 thats not sparking correct.
i go to boost the rs and it dont like it, lags and doesnt boost correct.(when refitted and not missfireing)
its been fine before when the leads where ok but could this cold ecffect them or are they just shit?
if you remove the lead and replace it while the car is running and wiggle it a bit then it runs fine and the car boosts. so is my best advice to get a new set?

just had a look at them out side of my office so only have a limted amount of tools, such as socket set(fealer gauge) from halfords, cleaned the plugs and the plug holes, cleaned the ht leads inside as much as i could with a dry rag, checked the spark gap and went to start it, runs alot better on tick over, not sure out on the road,
what spark plugs and ht leads run best on a rs turbo? so i can get some

Im a little confused here mate, you have a car that you (maybe) have had loads of work done to... looking at the power its giving out, and
1) You dont need tools to tighten the end of the plug, its a finger tight jobbie, with ya finger!
2) You dont know what 10mm Magnecore leads look like? Mate, they are red, thick, and have Magnecor written on them and the packaging. Every reputable Performance Motor Accessory outlet will do them/get them.
But just for you....
