Best S1 wheel ?-pics please
After 3 years with out my S1 and then owning the rather overratted escort cosworth, its time to come back to the S1
Im really having issues with deciding what wheels.
My last one had the original 15" spokes, and yes they did look lovley, but they are boring. I think id they were 16" or 17" they might look better.
and that brings me to the rs7's, which are the modern S1 equivelent wheel i suppose, but i dont like these and they have been done to death also.
So other choices well 17" Voodoos suit the cars angles and Azev A's ive always liked as well.
So what other wheels are there.
Id love pics off the above and any other suggestions please.

Thanks so much everyone, so are there any other choices?
Im still very undecided
Dont normally see colour coded fuel caps!! cleans it up a little
Need to do the door handles tho as well
How have you not been done with them tints yet

id leave the handles black, breaks it up a bit, black handles black around the mirrors etc, will look tacky if you start painting it all white, anyway why spend money on yours when theres a nice grey one in my garage you can have.

I fucking love those wheels, what are they. They look similar to the 'datapost' touring car wheels
Love the colour also mercury grey?
Was going to do grey also but just done my landrover in this colour
Ive got a mental colour in mind, but im not letting on yet, also this is why ive started this thread, because for me wheel choice is dirrectly affected buy the car colour.
Some real nice wheels on a car can look shite on the same car of a different colour, if you know what i mean.

Arrgh yeh i can see it now. Sorry ive only ever had diamond white, radient red and mallard green Not to clued up on any other colours.
Ohh im so excited, i want to share my idea but im affraid someone will steal it.
The car im getting was a fast ford feature car a few years back, so i need to get that back on the road to enable my other project to materialise. If i can pull it off its gna be big, i dont think anyone has ever done what i have in mind?

I dont know if i have the heart to canabalise a rare car.
I could just buy a lesser model to do it too, but then it takes the "shock" factor out of the equation.
ohhh you'll just have to be patient untill i decide what im going to do as it requires using two cars, but also keeping both. If that makes sence.

Although funnily enought its an idea i contemplated 2 weeks ago, even did a thread on it.
I was going to build a twin engined S1
Its been done about 4-5 times on rst's and i know of a fiesta rst as well.
But each one has been a failure due to not being able to get the geometry correct.
in fact there is a S1 shell ready converted for this, and i nearly bought it last week on pistonheads for £500 and i know the bloke is desperate for the money he gets his bird to answer also a sneaky trick sex sells
tho talking to them they sounded genuine, but i found a much better car for the money as i know how hard trim and interior are to come buy these days!!
