Thanks for the tip about oil pressure.
My ex rst had 1.5 bar oil pressure @ idle with burton "uprated" oil pump and 10w60 castrol tws oil and never had cam wear problems.
I will buy recon engine this winter and before i start it i will install mechanical oil pressure gauge so i can be sure there is enough pressure.
But if burton high power pump and 10w60 oil does not produce over 1 bar @ idle what is wrong?

10w60 is too thick! Unless you are track use only it wont get hot enough to thin out a bit and get round your engine properly!
15w50 (well any 50 'grade' really, the 15w and 10w is just the winter rating, how cold the ambient temp can be)is what you want make sure it's a Fully Synth Ester oil.
