Dont know if its worthy but my S2 has had a fair bit spent on spec.. most know it belonged to be Phil Holmes before i brought it back in april..

Forgot about this one, and it reminds me of another S2, Can't think of the guys name, But was also Grey,ZVH,tubular manifold over gearbox, think it was in a daddy thrash a few years back, anyone know... He is on here, But I'd be fucked if I knew the name of him!

Sid has gone abit more wacky since them pics.. should be out in the spring.. be one to keep an eye out for..
James, long time no speak.. yeah we are getting there, blew box coming back from silverstone and havent driven it since.. lol.. taken alot of bits off to be blasted and painted.. but be out again in the spring...
Had the turbo redone just after i see you, Need to get the car built up and then take it to Ian H (Area Six) to have a play with the turbo and manifold.. (Hopefully)
Its about 300bhp mark now.. dont really want anymore power as its a handful now.. Just need practice to get power down..

it is sort of controllable, well in a fashion. even in 6th cog it struggles for grip.
the car is more a track car than a 1/4 car, due to lack of grip, but saying that in its current spec we havnt had it to santa pod, just crail which is glass tarmac.

I have to admit that I never got to prove my Zetec build! I lunched the head by changing from 5th gear to 2nd at 90mph = 12500rpm. Never recoved from it. (development time and cost).
As I dont have a boost controller, it is a little bit trickey to controll the power up the 1/4 mile.

yeah the guy who bought it off me was from north wales somewhere..not entirely sure where though lol
any chance of any pics of you see it again? would love the see how it is now...saw it at a show last year or the year before but didnt like the chavvy number plates etc on it...lol broke my heart to see it so dirty to LOL!
when i bought it..it was near enough like this (i put the opening rear 1/4s on)

There is a more than fair chance mine might be running for summer 2009!
Although I did say the same about last year, then I discovered the rear suspension inc rose joints front and rear, MTX75, an engine rebuilds on my 2.8 Capri and my daily driver S2 (inc the many many cam swaps!).
God I need to get out more!

I have found these times I did for Redline mag last year.
0 to 150mph in 21.5 sec (fastest for a ESRT)
Danny Brooks 500+bhp Tigra did in 20.9 sec on the same day.
