Only just seen this post,
Christ Radders, how'd you remember my old series 2? i sold it about 6 years ago lol!
I've still got the mag in my toolbox ar work when it was featured but unfortunatly didn't have a digi camera back then, only got a couple of pics on the pc.

It wore the first GRS cooler and was modelled on a volvo item, just reduced 4" in height
As you said, 1.9cvh, weber management, 803's, single pass GRS, 4x4 T3 with .63 housing, mongoose etc. cossie 4 pots on the front, focus rear conversion, re trimmed interior. Full respray in black, with red pearl and course flake.
The twins have seen it a few times since and was looking a bit sorry for itself!!

Thank you! They have been diamond cut and then clearcoated, the inserts have been painted grey too, get comments on em all the time which is nice. I did fancy some rota slipstreams on my grey one but im sticking with these now!

I do like the diamond cut alloys.

IMO, '90 Spec spoiler would really make that look sweet.

By the way, regarding mine, it's been a long-term build that started with me buying a really really bloody clean low mileage RST 10 years ago. I knew very little mechanically back then.

well i feel very complemented... thanks Christian! I am looking for a 90 spec rear spoiler and was thinking of front bumper too but ill just keep the 88 spec on there for the time being... The exhaust is the only boyed up thing on it 4 inch rolled tip but it doesnt look too bad, The bonnet lifters have even grown on me as i never thought they would!

My has '90 spec rear spoiler and pre '90 spec front bumper. I have a brand spanking new '90 spec bumper sitting at work that I am contemplating whether or not to fit!!

The RST carries a 4" tailpipe really well IMO.

Mine wore standard wheels for as long as I could before having to upgrade wheel size to go with big brakes.

I would definately fit the 90 spec bumper, IMO they make the front look a little lower, joining it to the low back end, where did you get it from if you dont mind me asking?
I really like the 90 spec spoilers and am even contemplating getting a little black lip painted on the back, it joins the black door handles and piping on the front and rear bumpers.
Yes four inch tailpipes look awesome, i had a straight one on a diff s2 and this one has got a rolled tip on, looks really smart me thinks.
Those brakes on yours look absolutely massive, must stop very very well lol!
