indicators working weird, help?

as above when i rev the S2 or driving it the indicators work, when i dont have foot on accelerator they dont work? what you think it is?

I didnt know there was a relay on the stalk? certainly on my S1 the relay in the fuse box was black, just press them all in...must be one of them (if its there?)!

yep one of the differences between s1 and s2! flasher relay in stalk on s2 in fuse box on s1..... anyways it could be a bad earth? do the hazards work? is it the same on both sides? do you have that lovely escort flashing christmas tree back light effect that we all have?

oh and check the voltage at the battery and at the column switch when on tick over and when you rev it up. you might have volt drop on the cables..... even the newest wiring looms are 16 years old now! and hence getting knackered!

check the wiring visually for burnage and poor connections (corrosion) and with an ohm meter fpr resistance..... as wire gets older the resistance gets higher due to corrosion. high resitance causes volt drop.
the battery should have over 12 volts with the car running and ideally over 13.5volts
