Where you can get rear powerflex kit cheapest?I have seen 185Ł for complete se in ebay.. any cheaper possible?I bought front set about 80Ł.
I will strip all parts from rear section and get all parts sandblasted and painted during this winter season. Is there something i should know before i start to strip parts?I already have koni sport kit waiting.

The hardest part i found was to undo the big nut on the end of the tie bar, attack it with a wire brush and lube it up like a chippendale!

To remove the bush from the chassis end of the tiebar, just hacksaw through the rubber on one side then hammer out.

Depending on which bush set you have, with regard to the inner wishbones, some retain the original steel casing, some dont. If you need to retain the steel casing, just burn the rubber out with a blowtorch. If you need to remove the steel casing, be careful as they only come out one way (tappered) and will need to be hammered out, again, attack with a wire brush and lube. be carefull when hammering the bush as if you rest area of the wishbone on somehting while you are bashing the hell out of it, it will bend very easily if you rest it on the open end!

as above regarding the rear inner trailing arm bush, make sure u kno if u need to retain the outer sleeve or not, as i knocked the sleeve out, only to need it, so ended up buyin new standard bushes just for the sleeve sections to be refitted, hassle

all my bushes were removed by using a round tapered head chisel, to knock down thru the middle and remove the inner sleeve. then the rubber section can either b pushed out, or a quick slice with the hacksaw and then push it out

hardest nuts to undo are the rear tie bar nuts, so make sure u do them on the car, dont b tempted to drop the rest and then undo off the car, as i had to do this with 1 side, and it took 3 of us about an hour of stamping and barring and swearing lol

overall though, it aint a bad job, if ur gna soak the nuts n bolts prior to removal, dnt use WD40 as its a lubricant, more useful would be an actual penetrating fluid, this will loosen them up wherever possible, much more than wd40 ever could

Biggest thing id say is to use single hex sockets as bi-hex ones you can slip off and round the nuts off then youve got a whole new problem on your hands

just to point out, all the polybush kits iv seen come with replacement inner bushes, so dnt worry bout saving them upon removing the old 1s. its the OUTER sleeve of the rear inner trailing arm bush, thats the sleeve ur kit might not have.

if u have a replacement, knock the entire bush including the outer out (making sure to work with the taper, otherwise could take a while lol). if your kit has no outer sleeve, just remove the inner sleeve and the rubber as with the other bushes. will make sense when u come to do it

just to help point out exactly what we mean, this is what u end up with when u knock the sleeve out and dont have a replacement lol

big gap, and the new bush has nothing to sit in to secure it

i used a full car set of the deflex/floflex bushes, and the rear arm inner bush needs some sort of outer sleeve, otherwise the bushe is just too narrow and flops around in the hole, so no chance it could run without a sleeve

either cut the old rubber out of the existing outer sleeve, then clean up the outer sleeve n slide the new polybush in, or do as i did and buy a pair of new standard bushes for the sleeves, n cut the new rubber section out leaving u with a new sleeve to fit ur polybush into

bit of a ballache, but only options really dude
