Generally though they need replacing in pairs! Especially if you not a fan of cracked exhaust downpipes!

I think with a slight mod MK3 Fiesta diesal mounts can be used as they are stiffer. The standard ones are want on big power cars so I always run vibratecnics fast road ones. You wont realise just how fucked they are untill you put new ones in.

Aparently they are, migt be worth a chat with a friendly parts guy at Ford.

I am sure Performance ford fitted some to Nick Thomas's grey S2 about 2 years ago and did a little feature (possibly if Mel can) on whats envolved.

 

yeah aparently the diesel ones are stronger, if not then they're definatly diffrerent, cos you need to drill a new hole for each to make them fit
