turbo spluttering and back firing ?????

Default turbo spluttering and back firing ?????

i have a series 2 rs turbo when the turbo kicks in it starts hesitating and spluttering ending in a backfire,ive been told that this might be from where the petrol might be running low and when im going around bends its sucking in air,but i have also been told it could be over boosting does any one have any ideas,thanks

hiya pal, had the same problem. About 3 days after a setup. 2 days later the car wouldnt start, the fuel pump had gone tits up. replaced it and touch wood its been superb every since.

Just saying, could be your fuel pump... i got a brand new Bosch from eBay - £60 deliver Special Delivery.

i had a similar problem,it turned out my boost ecu was faulty.found 1 on ebay 4 30 pounds pluged it in and its been fine ever since

boost ECU? you jsut got a brand new ECU from the bay...

not brnd new second hand,this fixed my backfiring and spluttering anyway

check ur boost pipes and ur actuator pipes!
