When the S1 is low on fuel and i'm slowing down reasonably quickly, it stalls when i'm changing down the gears and then fires up again when i lift the clutch again. I'm sure it's because the fuel is surging to the front and away from the fuel pump and then fires up when the petrol moves to the back. Also when it stalls the fuel pump is noisier, presumably cos it's running but not pumping any petrol and it only does it when it's low. My other S1 never did it at all. Is it a common problem ? Is there something wrong with mine ? cheeRS

 

have your metering head checked out? as my series 2 had the same problem they had to set the fuelin up.
