Default Poorly running RST...

A friend of mine has just bought a S2 90` Spec turbo, it has devoloped a misfire since shes owned it. However, if you pull the lead off No.4 plug and rest the lead close to the plug then it runs fine. Just when you connect it properly, it starts misfiring.

We`ve changed the plugs and leads but no change. Never come across this problam before, any help is much appreciated.

Cheers, Ed.

i had a similar fault on the xrtt i have, so i just adjusted the position of the lead in the rubber sleeve and tightened the cap on the spark plug as it canme loose a little and had no faults since.
it's dedo lead related, what leads does it have?

also, it may be a bad earth to the block, so just check those too, unlikely, but it's an electrical fault for sure.
