how much boost?

Hi all, now that the colder weather is here will it be safe to turn the boost up a bit? Ive got 14psi at the min on a standard intercooler, but i plan to get a bigger one b4 the summer! can I run anymore or not-what does everyone else run?

i wouldnt why do you wonna do that now it's winter i would turn it down if anything mate.
i run 17 psi but ive got a pace intercooler,ss exhaust,piper x air filter and a 1700 bottom end, ive also had it chipped.
on a standard engine most peaple wouldnt go anymore than 10 - 13 psi the most.
if you do go ahead and do this make sure you get it set up.

i think its safe as it is anymore boost and your engine will run very hot. Think about getting a uprated intercooler or even a charge cooler and you could run as i do 18psi on a standard bottom end but this is really the limit on a standard bottom end.
