071C plug issue - Gaps??
When fitting Ford 071C plugs in a Series 2, do you need to adjust the gap? If so, to what?
Reason I ask is that i fitted some to mine yesterday, and now it holds back on boost - to which it never did on the plugs i took out.
I fitted a Group A Coil last week too but the two together, plugs and coil, dont seem to wanna work together as i first anticipated!

Aint it a case that with the Group A Coil, the gaps can be enlarged? Saying that, i'd better get it running right before i mess with them even more!
I'll give it a go tomorrow. Thanks.
Anyone had this issue, or is it just me?

Swapped over the Magnecores for the ones that were in it before... took it for a spin and all seems a little better. Maybe the magnecores, which have been stored for a while, are a little damp/damaged somehow? I dunno, but on the one test run today the only thing holding the car back now is the incorrectly set bleed valve....
... Just to make all aware, the car has been off the road for the last 4 months and its only now that all the new parts are being put thru their test!
Still gotta look at the gaps, but i think new leads are on the cards too.
