Just got my Compo's 16" from a lad.

My alloys on the car at the moment are also 16".

The Compo's are 5mm further to the struts the ET is 40 whereas my alloys are ET 35, but i can get spacers.

My tyres are 195/45/16 but the Mo's are 205/55/16....my question is will the Mo's fit straight on with the tyres they have?? or do i need smaller tyres??
not sure weather the tyres size will hit my arches.

Should i take the mo's to a garage and have them put one on and check??

Wheels will fit however the tyres will catch the arch, as the profile is high and teh tyre is wider, maybe fit new lower profile tyres 40,45, even a 50 may work with a 195. Or have the arches rolled/cut away.

 

It will look like a comedy car with baloon tyres.

 

195/45/16 will be your best bet 205/55/16 will scuff like fuck if you dont do some arch modding

 

205/45 would be better
