my car is really annoying me. Its knocking when I lift my foot off the accelerator. When I'm accelerating it doesn't do it. Its coming from the right hand side at the front and I can feel it through the floor, peddals and steering wheel.

Gets worse when I turn corners in both directions.

Do you think it could be top engine mount??

Don't think its cv joint cause it knocks in a straight line like mad.

engine or gearbox mount mate, i've got the exact same issue with my missus's Puma.

 

possibly gear or engine mounts if not c.v joint or shafts

 

One of those annoying jobs where you just have to change everything until it stops, and then you know what it was!

 

oh well I got vibra technic mounts on the gearbox but the engine one has never been changed.

think i will change that first and hope.
