Default s1 sus setup

ok ive had a read about on the net and im kinda interested in the s1 setup.... is the only difference the lower arms and antoroll bar is adjustable?
and what exactly do you need to carry out the conversion?

Conversion from what ?

Gearbox mounts front and rear, plus front corner plates etc are different to a Mk4 if thats what your on about ??

im doing the same thing at the mo,u need s1 box,rear box mount that goes on the car,whoele anitroll bar set up,either replaced or drill front cross member,also looks like alternator will foul the antiroll bar,so need a iff thing there i think,not sure on tht 1 yet!!

ok screw that then as altenator may be an issue as im putting in an rs2k lump next tuesday. ah well at least i know roughly what you need for future reference! thanks mate

mk4 alternator will not foul the S1 or RS1600i anti-roll bar setup.

cheers jesse for tht,i wasnt to sure as the s1 hangs higher then the s2 one!
