I have an airtek, I cant fault it at all. I'm running essentially a standard engine @ 8psi. with just a K&N, a Mongoose and the aforementioned cooler and it made 145bhp when I had it all set up. Well worth the money.

Last time i got a GRS one they were about Ł270 and the fans were Ł80 each. Like gus said they have been proven to lower acts. I aint seen anything on them airtec ones yet so cant comment on weather they do a better job or not but like the saying goes you get what you pay for.

Yeah they maybe good for the money and probably ok for him but i thought as he has spent the money on building a 2.0 ZVH why skimp on the intercooler might aswell spend the extra Ł100 or so and get a Grs so there is no longer an issue.

i had no water problems with my old pro alloy cooler
it just wasnt man enough for large amounts of boost
off the shelf for big power would have to be a grs cooler all day long
i have just received my custom made cooler from pro alloy

RADTEC,
Is all to do with the quality and spec of the cores. These guys supply intercoolers for loads of race series stuff such as the porsche GT cup series.
They know what they are doing.
The last cooler I had in use off them was amazing even at 28psi!

i have a radtec, due to them being more within my budget at the time, and i have no complaints, nice quality and fit, and appeared to do its job fine
always hear good things about grs for the more powerful cars out there, and i really like the look of the pro alloy units with the wind deflector plates
my mate just bought an airtec unit, and i must say i hope it functions better than it looks, because the welds look messy, and even the brackets seem flimsy, brackets would be better welded on like all the others rather than thin bolted on items

I put an airtec on my S2 and i used to thrash it within a inch of its life every time i was behind the wheel. no problems with it. two of my mates bought one for theres and had no problems but no of us are runnin big power (170bhp aprox??) another one of my friends has a GRS twin pass and it looks a better built product. plus GRS is tried and tested on big power cars. Dont forget the pro alloy one is only a single pass and think the boost has less distence to travel so i think turbo responce should be slightly better????
