ib5 gearboxes......
I know that these are better than the bc rst gearboxes(apart from the lack of lsd). What are the differences in getting them to fit onto the cvh engine??

They can be a straigth replacement depending where they are from. Trouble might arise if:
They have the starter motor at the back of the block (not a problem with ZVH/Zetec)
They have a cable type gear selector (need a shifter from a Focus etc.)
They have a hydcraulically actuated clutch (needs a master cylinder installed)

Ah right ok, is that still classed as an IB5 box then? My idea of an IB5 is out of a mk5/6 escort, a similar visual appearance to the BC box, and retains a cable actuated clutch (cast alloy arm) and push rod selector.
