Default Pistons

This may be a stupid question, but what pistons would fit in the S2 block ie cossie or calibra turbo? or can u get the standard mahle pistons skimmed?
Just asking cos im getting the bottom end freshened up ie new bearings shells and rings, and am also going efi,so not much spare money to throw at aftermarket pistons

Skimm them to 1.5 mm and you'll be good up to 21 psi for sure

Mine is done like that and it's holding for long time now

They are 2 different makes, Mahles are as fitted as standard.

I'm running 245bhp@1.5 bar using unskimmed AE pistons with no problems...track, strip and top speed runs have been done with no problems with the bottom end (not up until now anyway lol). Poor mapping has alot to do with meltdowns and pistons failing imo, you're going efi so that shouldn't be a problem.
