piston numbers
Hi all,
A was helping a friend of mine take apart his 1.9 powere engerneerg lump due to a broken ring. When we took the head off The bore was scored and slight damage to the edge of the piston. just for research on his engine can you tell me what these markings mean on the pistons. they are 82,855 sp 0,045

id say the piston diameter and the oversize from std..??
sure ill be corrected...!!
is it a system 2 engine..?? a pal has just rebuilt my old sys 2, it had mercedes pistons and saab rods..!!!
