Default brakes

can anyone help i have just done a rear disc conv on my s2 rs turbo using all new parts the prob is the peddle is going right to the floor an i have pressure bleed them so many times but still dont work. if i clamp off the rear brakes the peddle is fine. i have done all the brake lines on there own i have not put a t peice in will that make any diff. any ideas as to what might be the prob cheers

Still got rear load compensators on?? If so car must be weighted on wheels when bleeding!

Also depending on rear brackets used, you may have to unbolt calliper & rotate until bleed nipple is in correct position as air gets trapped otherwise.

Correct position being at the top (higher most point of the caliper)

And bin the pressure bleeder as too much pressure can blow seals apart

Checked angle of calliper on bracket??

Missed you using pressure bleeder, & as said above, i've heard a few horror stories when used on RST' so bin it, grab a pal ( or for any 'Billy-No-Mates' any person with at least one good leg will do) & bleed brakes the ol' fashioned way

Ive just had this problem bleading my rear calipers and we hadnt pushed the piston right the way back in the caliper so it had a little air pocket so we took the calipers off & wound them back all the way then we put a 'G' clamp over to stop the piston coming out again and blead it through and thats seems to have done the job as ive got a nice firm pedal now.

all sorted now thanks for your help just had to lift the caliper an bleed it
