If an MFi car is heard to chatter, it will be slight and the best way is to run an induction kit, which will conversely be shit for performance. So, it's a case of what do you want? Chatter or Performance?

I can understand your theory, the logical approach, I think the higher the boost and RPM, the more 'shrill' the noise, the lower the boost and rpm, the deeper the noise.

i always thought mfis couldnt chatter as i was told a car chatters when the turbo spins backwards and as the mfi's have the non return flap underneath the air intake it stops boost for escaping back through the air filter therefor stops the turbo from being able to spin backwards and make the chattering noise.... cars that do generally chatter have an air filter straight on the turbo ie fiesta's and most rice motors

i second that said by Christian and Beccy
the loudest chatter actually happens at low boost.
If an MFi car is heard to chatter, it will be slight and the best way is to run an induction kit, which will conversely be shit for performance. So, it's a case of what do you want? Chatter or Performance?
but never heard mfi chatter myself
