Sorry but do people not run OFAB, Gotech, Cossie, Megasquirt or different management systems on their RS Turbos on this forum

As I expect you are aware having a ZVH in your signature many FWD Escorts on this forum are not standard

Is it not better to clarify things rather than provide incorrect advice or to make assumptions

had a problem gttn my scooby thro it mot fail on emmisions also,

check if you exhaust has any leaks at the joints ect

take the car for a blast on a (privite road) and kick its hole,

also you can get carb/injection cleaner from stores like halfords, spray that into th inlet,

i did all off the above and the scooby passed its emisions,

that wont work on an rs turbo, that will be for cars fitted with cats to get them hot.

pull dipstick slightly out when emmisions are being done this will bring it down to pass

take the car for a blast on a (privite road) and kick its hole,

i wasnt on about the cleaner, the bit about taking it for a blast, ive done this lots of times to get through emissions on newer cars.

if you make a small air leak the emissions will come down, too much the car will stall

dipstick was just an example you could use breathers, oil cap etc.... saves you messing about with the co adjuster without the correct equipment.
