1.9 xr2 on 40's

since relooming my series 2 (ex 1.3) im found since then my c/l and alarm dont work, its a bit of a rats nest and im asking a fairly impossible question but any ideas where to look to a feed that may be shared?
all worked mint in the car i broke and took the loom from,

i do have leftover wires that are alarm but i doubt that matter much (green/black nr under dash relays and very long grey wire??) i cant remember where they go maybe they never went anywhere?

alarm is toad but branded max power

strange as its cat 1 so you'd think if power is cut it still wouldnt allow the car to start but it all runs fine



any info appreciated, just come in from looking it over cos its bloody freezing (dash is out )

just been out again and run another e/w c/l loom over teh old one and same same

wondering: when you sitr in teh car with teh doors closed you press teh rocking button for the locking and they lock yeah? then unlock? (not been messing with old cars for a long time )


may try the power supplied the other way round in the feed plug (red and black/yellow-plug in)

could be power to the system before the add on loom

ok long grey wire usually pin switch or auxilary feed (if got that option on the alarm)
