series 2 pissing me off!. valve troubles i think?

Default series 2 pissing me off!. valve troubles i think?

have a normal cvh engine rst 2. cylinders 1 3 and 4 is at 100psi number 2 is at 30 psi. whats happened have i blew my head gasket, bent a valve or did my bottom in or even still the shells on my pistons. someone please help me. cheers dan.

for the compression to be that low i would have suspected either you have holed a piston, bent a valve or possibly a rocker arm has come loose.

as above also check the tappets as these might be fu***d and not pushing the valve down

cheers lads for the input. i need a mechanic to come round n let him have the final say, i live next to teeside airport and willing for somebody to have a second look, will pay obvisly !

could i have bent a valve etc by having the cam belt been incorrectly fitted, as this had been done a week before ive had this nighmare.. also new valve stem seals fitted to.

i had the exact same prob with my s1, stripped the block down to find the piston had cracked on the side and one of the rings had snapped
