Default Failed MOT ....... Resto time!!!!!

Well, what can I say but I'm gutted. My S2 failed it's MOT for a second attampt running, having fixed all the problems from the first failure, I took it for a retest and it failed on a bucket load more things, mainly welding and a few little bits.

So having always been one to see the bright side of everything that happens I've decided it's time to stop firefighting problems as they come and patching up and high time to start a proper restoration.

I'm going to start on the underneath, removing any parts and panels that have patches and replacing them with new, e.g. chasis legs, floorpans, cills etc. Anyone have any hints and tips on tackling the underneath?

On the bright side, had it rolling roaded and set up before the MOT for the emissions and it made 145bhp with 155lbft of torque holding 8psi of boost, on what is essentially a standard engine with a FMIC
