Default next mod ???

right then, had the escort on RR lst week and made a very diaspointing 116bhp ATW

was kind off hoping for more, has following mods

full width intercooler,
s/s exhaust,
chipped ecu,
leads

n that bought it,when it was on th rollers they wer unsure if it has a cam,i no for defo it has no pully as had t cover of few weeks ago but not had chance to hav a look at th cam yet,

anyways, hwat my best mod next, was thinking of new actuator but was then thinking i may buy new turbo,t3 stage 3 hybrid

what you all think ?

I'd get it set up properly first and replace the almost certainly soggy actuator if it's more than a few years old.

imho a Stage3 hybrid turbo will be too much for the rest of your spec. Once you are sure the car is running well I would look at fitting an uprated cam and see where that leaves you.

116 ATW is very poor as a standard RST makes 109 ATW

Did they give any indication to why the power was so low

If the actuator is fucked or there was just not alot of boost then that would give a low reading.

What boost was it showing when on the rollers

Can you feel a difference now it has more boost.

116 at wheels means +35 on flywheel? If I am right, standard RST has about 35 bhp looses at gearbox and others stuff.

Because its Ebay pish.

Your car is making no where near the power it should with the mods you have, sort the fueling and the boost out then you will see an increase in power

I don't think its massively out. 0.75 bar of boost is only 11psi, thats only 4psi more than standard. It only takes for it to be overfuelling a little and that would cost it the 10-15bhp that I think it may have lost. The cooler will only make a significant difference at higher boost, the standard cooler can cool 9-10psi reasonably well.

If the turbo is in good condition, knowing that it has a full-width cooler, it could run 16 or maybe even 18psi. Even then, I'd only expect around 140bhp ATW or so.
