Default Quick head question

Is there any difference between the head of a late xr2 and a s2 mfi head. Im not talking about the internal bits, just the head itself.

Please help, the thermostat bolt theads are fooked and i need this back on the road by mon thats a genuine crying as well, not a crying with laughter, i wish.

depends if the heads got harder valve seats to run unleaded petrol, also have to remove the inlet studs, and use the proper RS ones, as the Xr ones are not long enough

cheers, ive since found out that the late xr2 head was lean burn and the mfi head was hemi so no go
